A Royal Family

A Royal Family

By Rusty Wilson

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

- 1 Peter 2:9

As a child of God, we are in a family of Royalty, we are a Royal Family. We have been chosen, a chosen race (The Amplified Version). God's own purchased (by the blood of Jesus), a special, dedicated, anointed people. We are a part of a family that all that we need is already provided for us (Philippians 4:19). What we have to do is believe God by faith and receive what He has already provided.

We are a family of value that the world can't comprehend, no money can purchase. We need to look at ourselves in a mirror and see ourselves as a child of Royalty, because we are a child of God. He is Royalty.

We are to walk and talk as a Royal child. Not thinking we are better than anyone else, NO, NO, NO! We are to walk, talk and be as representatives of Christ, the Messiah, the Anointed One, and His Anointed! We can do it! We do it through Christ which strengthens us (Philippians 4:13), Who empowers us. We have His authority (Luke 10:19).

The Power Of God In You!

The Power Of God In You!

By Rusty Wilson

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

     - Ephesians 3:20-21

When we received Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we received the power of God in our lives. At first, we didn’t know how to use His ability He gave us, all we knew was to pray and start reading His Word and strengthen our faith as we were taught. As we read and studied His Word, we began to receive revelation of what God said in His Word and that He is speaking now.

As we learned and still learning to trust Him and lean on Him and not our own understanding. We learn that the power He gave us is the working of the Holy Spirit in us and working through us as He anointed us to do what He has called us to do. For example, we have the power and authority to lay hands on the sick and they shall recover (Mark 16:18). The power of God that is in us takes the working of our faith and being obedient to Him.

God is able to DO exceeding abundantly above ALL that we ask or think and it’s according to the power that worketh in us. As the Holy Spirit works through us and we speak His Word, we see His Word manifest for His glory and for His praise. We the body of Christ are the church, we are His vessel. We are to give Him glory and bring Him glory by bearing much fruit (John 15:8). As we bear fruit, it will show that we are His disciples and we are different from the world. Let’s be the vessel God has called us to be and yield to the Holy Spirit and we will see great things take place in our lives.

This Is The Day!

This Is The Day!

By Rusty Wilson

This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

     - Psalms 118:24

This is the day which the Lord hath made… If we will take some time and think about this part of the scripture, we can come to an understanding that the LORD made this day for you and for me and we can truly rejoice and truly be glad in it. He made this day so you and I can enjoy it and complete the work He has already planned for us to do today.

God has already laid the plan out, and as we are obedient to Him and led by the Holy Spirit, we can rejoice for we don't have to try to figure out what He has for us to do. We just trust in Him and seek Him and He will show us which way to go and what He has for us to do (Jeremiah 33:3, Matthew 6:33).

No matter what situation we may be facing if any, Jesus is the way to overcome, because He already has (John 16:33). We overcome through Him (1 John 4:4). We can trust in the Lord to see us through. He knows what is ahead of us and He will lead us by His Holy Spirit through this day and every day. Glory to God! Remember, He made this day just for you and for me to enjoy and to reach the world with His Word! So let's rejoice and be glad in this day.

A Holy Spirit Led Life

A Holy Spirit Led Life

By Rusty Wilson

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

     - John 16:13

Having a Holy Spirit led life takes complete yielding to the Holy Spirit. Being sensitive to Him and being ready and open to do what He says to do.

We need an understanding that when the Holy Spirit speaks, He is speaking a Word coming straight from the throne of God. Right off the press. When He speaks, it hasn’t been edited, He speaks exactly what God says. Knowing when He speaks, you can take it to the bank, because it is God speaking to you and to me. That is powerful and needs our undivided attention.

Having a Holy Spirit led life takes discipline, which is a must and is vital for every born again believer. It takes work. It's not just a one-time deal. It's daily. It's a lifetime. A disciplined life is a lifestyle. So let's be encouraged to continue to be led by the Holy Spirit and know that we are in good hands.

Keep Moving Forward, Keep Pressing In!

Keep Moving Forward, Keep Pressing In!

By Rusty Wilson

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

                                                                                                 - Philippians‬ ‭3:13-14

                                                   ‬‬‬‬‬‬

One of the most important things for us to remember, is to forget those things which are behind us that hold us back, that keep us from moving forward with what God has for us to do. The devil will try to bring the things of our past to our attention that we have been forgiven of, trying to distract us. We must rebuke him and refuse to think on those things.

God is wanting us to get His Word in us like never before so we can keep moving forward, keep pressing in so we can do what He has called us to do. This takes discipline. Yes, it may seem hard to do with a busy schedule, but when we get the Word in us first thing each and every day, we will see a difference. We will be able to keep our focus on God and His Word.

With God’s Word in us and thinking on it through the day, renewing our mind and doing as He says to do, we can move forward and accomplish much more than we ever thought we could, because God is working through us daily.

Pursue Your Purpose

Pursue Your Purpose

By Rusty Wilson

For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].

                                                                                                 -  Ephesians‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭AMP

                                                   ‬‬‬‬‬‬

We all have a purpose in life. Even though to some it doesn't appear so to them, but they do. The important thing is, finding out what that purpose is. As a child of God, He has given us a specific purpose and to know what that purpose is and which direction to go, we need to go to Him, seeking first His Kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right, Matthew 6:33 The Amplified version) to know what He has for us to do. Being patient and listening for His voice for He will speak to us.

Jeremiah 33:3 says, Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. As you call unto Him, He will reveal to you what He wants you to do. When you hear His command and ask the Holy Spirit to guide and direct you, you can then pursue your purpose.

God has already planned what He has for us to do, His purpose for us. What we’ve got to do is seek Him and He will show us what He has planned for us. We have individual purposes for our family, for our home, our business and for everyday life. When we give our purpose to Him, lining it up with His and make any changes that are necessary and receive the purpose He has prepared ahead of time for us. We will see a bigger and better purpose than we have ever thought or even imagined. Let’s pursue the purpose God has for us.

Staying In Unity!

Staying In Unity!

By Rusty Wilson

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

                                                                                                 -  Psalms 133:1

                                                   ‬‬‬‬‬‬

It is vitally important for the Body of Christ to stay in unity. Unity is being united, being as one. Being alike in Christ even though we are different from each other, but our natural and spiritual appearance is in the likeness of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:26).

When we dwell together in unity, loving one another as God loves us is pleasing to Him. We are to dwell and stand together, protecting each other and keeping peace with one another and keeping strife out of our relationship. Being on guard and watching to make sure that we don’t leave any way for the devil to enter in and put strife in the middle.

As we remember what Ephesians 6:12 says, For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. We don't wrestle or fight against flesh and blood or in other words each other, because if we do we make the devils job easy. If we argue or fight against each other, he can sit back and watch the fight while we would be helping him accomplish his job. Let's continue to work on staying in unity and being at peace with one another and be pleasing to God.

If Thou Canst Believe!

If Thou Canst Believe!

By Rusty Wilson

Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

                                                                                                 -  - Mark 9:23

                                                   ‬‬‬‬‬‬

We read in Mark chapter 9 where a man brought his son that had a foul spirit that tried to destroy his son and the man asked Jesus for help. Jesus said to him, “If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that beliveveth.” (New King James Version says, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”). The father of the child cried out with tears, “Lord, I believe”; (vs. 24). Jesus rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, “Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him." (Mark 9:25)

The man was also honest after he said he believed and said, “help my unbelief.” It’s important if we know there is any unbelief or in others words, if we are having a hard time with believing God for a certain thing, it’s important to work on that unbelief. We can make a daily confession by saying “I believe! I believe the Word of God. I believe what it says I can have, I can have. I believe and I receive what God has in store me, I Believe!” Sometimes we have to convince ourselves and strengthen our belief by saying, “I Believe!”

The woman with the issue of blood believed and said, “If I may touch, but his clothes, I shall be whole” (Mark 5:28), and she was made whole. Jairus one of the rulers of the synagogue believed that if Jesus would come to his house and lay hands on his daughter, she would be healed and she would live. Jesus went to Jairus’s house and told his daughter to arise and she arose and was healed and she lived. We can believe the Word of God. When we ask in prayer, believing we receive it and we shall have it.

Dwelling In The Secret Place

Dwelling In The Secret Place

By Rusty Wilson

HE WHO dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand].

                                                                                                 -  Psalm‬ ‭91:1‬ ‭(AMP‬‬‬‬‬)

                                                   ‬‬‬‬‬‬

When we dwell in the secret place of God Almighty the Most High, we can rest assure that we are protected and remain stable as we abide in Him (John 15:4-6). We are placed in a protected position in the secret place where we will remain stable and fixed under the shadow of God, Almighty. The place where no foe (no devil) can withstand the power thereof.

We are protected and secure as we stand strong and stable in God's protection. To stay in God's protective covering, we must do as He says to do. Being a doer of His Word and not a hearer only (James 1:22).

To keep ourselves dwelling in the secret place, we need to keep our mind and our focus on things above (Colossians 3:2 AMP) and not on things on this earth. I'm not saying, we are going to stop seeing things happen around us, but when we get our eyes on things above, the things around us wont have the effect on us like they did before. We can keep rolling that care over on the Lord for He cares for us. He doesn’t want us trying to carry the weight of those cares taking place around us and besides we can’t. All we can do is cast those cares over onto Him for He is the only One that can take care of them. So let's keep the weight of the cares off of our mind and keep our mind and our focus on Jesus, knowing we can dwell in the secret place without any cares to carry. Glory to God!

The Ressurection Power Lives In Us

The Resurrection Power Lives In Us

By Rusty Wilson

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

                                                                                                 -  Romans‬ ‭8:11‬

                                                   ‬‬‬‬‬‬

When we received Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we received the resurrection power in us for He is the Resurrection and the Life (John 11:25). The same Spirit (God's Spirit) that raised Christ from the dead lives and dwells in us (John 15:4). Praise God!

His Spirt that is in us has power to restore, quicken and strengthen our body. When we feel weak, we can confess, “I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might" (Ephesians 6:10), "the joy of the Lord is my strength" (Nehemiah 8:10).

As we study the Word of God and increase our faith by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17), we know we can speak the Word, believe and know it's going to come to pass. We can know we have the resurrection power of God in us and He will make alive and strengthen our mortal body so we can continue with full strength to accomplish what God has in store for us to do.

Be Not Afreaid, Only Believe!

Be Not Afraid, Only Believe!

By Rusty Wilson

As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.

                                                                                                 -  Mark‬ ‭5:36

                                                   ‬‬‬‬‬‬

As we read about Jairus a ruler of the synagogue that came to Jesus asking Him to go to his house, because his only daughter in the physical appearance was dying and lay His hands on her and she would live.

When Jesus went with Jairus, on their way to his house a woman with an issue of blood came to touch Jesus' garment for she believed if she could just touch the hem of Jesus' garment, she would be healed. When she touched the hem of His garment she was healed of that plague (Mark 5:29) As Jesus spoke to the woman, there came someone from the rulers house who said to Jairus ..."Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further?” (Mark‬ ‭5:35‬). As soon as Jesus heard the word spoken, He said to Jairus ...”Be not afraid, only believe” (vs. 36).‬

Jesus continued onto Jairus's house with Peter, James and John and Jesus raised Jairus's daughter up. No matter what report we may hear, when we stand on the Word of God and believe God for the manifestation of His Word, we must continue to believe God and His Word no matter what report we get and what the enemy tries to tell us. We know the devil is a liar. Let's continue to only believe and see what we’ve been believing for come to pass.

Be Not Deceived

Be Not Deceived

By Rusty Wilson

And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

                                                                                                 -  Luke 21:8

                                                   ‬‬‬‬‬‬

In the world today we see a lot of deception taking place. We see deception between individuals. There’s deception in the political world, in the business world and other different areas of the world. One thing that we as the body of Christ must do is be sensitive to the Holy Spirit so He can minister to us, revealing to us what to watch for and not be deceived by the devil.

For there will be those that will come and say they are Christ, but the truth is they have been sent by the devil to deceive and weaken a person’s faith in God. Trying to cause confusion and lead astray, for they are a seducing spirit (I Timothy 4:1-2). There will be those that will say they have been sent from God to do a certain work that don’t even line up with the Word of God. God does not send anyone to do anything against His Word, but only to do His Word, which is His will (James 1:22-25). The Holy Spirit will minister to us and let us know to be cautious of the deception of the devil and He will lead us so we can escape it.

We know the source behind the deception is the devil, for he will do anything to try to distract us and lead us away from God and His protection. He knows if he can get us away from God’s protection, he can steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10). He uses tools like alcohol, drugs, pornography and anything that becomes an idol in a person’s life. Let us be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and refuse to be pulled away, by staying in God’s will and His protection.

Be Not Distracted

Not Being Distracted

By Rusty Wilson

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

                                                                                                 -  1 Peter 5:7-8

                                                   ‬‬‬‬‬‬

It’s Important that we’re not distracted with the things of this world (Colossians 3:2). We see things in the news on TV, in newspapers, on the internet, in social media, but we must not allow that to be our main focus. If we constantly think about worldly things, it becomes a distraction in our life keeping an open door for the devil to attack with fear and doubt. It’s important to keep the door closed.

Other distractions can come from personal decisions. Some have concerns of financial debt and not enough money. I’m not saying that we all don’t deal with these areas, but it is important that we cast these cares upon the Lord and let Him lead us by His Holy Spirit on getting out of debt and even believing God for debt cancellation. We also need to make sure our faith is increased daily (Romans 10:17) so when situations arise, we don’t get in a panic and pick the care back up. You may say, “It’s not as easy as you think”. I’m not saying it is easy and that the thoughts aren’t going to come into our mind. We’ve got to make sure that we aren’t being distracted and keep our mind on the Word of God (Proverbs 4:20-21).

Keeping our mind free from distractions is a daily working process. The mind can be the devils playground, but we can refuse to let him mess with our mind and refuse to think on negative things. We can think on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely and of good report (Philippians 4:8). Let’s continue to keep our mind on the Word of God and refusing to think on what the devil tries to put into our mind. Remember, we have the mind of Christ.

He Is Not Here, He Has Risen

He Is Not Here, He Has Risen

By Rusty Wilson

And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

                                                                                                 -  Luke‬ ‭24:5-7 ‭‬‬‭‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

                                                   ‬‬‬‬‬‬

On that glorious day when Jesus our Lord and Savior was raised from the dead. Just like He said He would be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified. He died a painful death paying the ultimate price only He could pay with His blood. Then on the third day the power of Almighty God raised Jesus, His only begotten Son from the dead and now He is sitting on the right hand of the throne of God our Heavenly Father. Jesus paid the ultimate price for you and for me.

That same resurrection power, the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you and me (Romans 8:11). That is Exciting news, the kind of news that is true that you won't see in the local paper. The only news that only can be found in the Word of God and the truth that we can believe in and is in us.

The resurrection power of the Lord Jesus is in us and worketh in us. His Spirit quickens, makes alive our mortal body. We don't need to look in an empty tomb to find the power of God, it is in us. We should depend on the Spirit of God to quicken us and to strengthen us. To guide and direct us to others to share with them the very same power that we have, they can have also with the decision to believe in the finished work of the cross. The work that Jesus finished so we could choose life and have life and live it to the fullest. Jesus lives. He died and rose from the dead so we could have life and have life more abundantly (John 3:16).

The Ressurection and The Life

The Resurrection and The Life

By Rusty Wilson

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

                                                                                                 -  John 11:25‬ ‭‬‬‭‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

                                                   ‬‬‬‬‬‬

When Jesus went to raise Lazarus from the dead, Martha heard that Jesus was coming and as soon as she heard, she went to meet Him. When she met Jesus, she came to Him expressing that He was too late saying, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died (John 11:21). We understand that Jesus was and is always on time. His timing will always benefit us and His timing was going to benefit Martha and those around them observing, because they were going to see the mighty power of God at work. Jesus told her that her brother would rise again and with her natural thinking, her thoughts were that Lazarus would rise again in the last day not having an understanding of who Jesus was.

Jesus told Martha in verse 25, …I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: She didn’t realize she was looking at and talking to the actual Person who is the Resurrection and the Life and not just hearing a Truth of a statement. Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life and knowing this, with receiving Jesus into our heart and making Him Lord of our Life, we have the Spirit and the power of the Resurrection and Life in us.

We can speak life to someone like Jesus did when He called Lazarus forth, and when He commanded Jairus’s daughter to arise from her sleep (by natural eyes she was dead: Mark 5:39-42; Luke 8:52-55). We have the power and authority of the Resurrection and Life living in us and as we speak life to someone by faith in Jesus name, there will be life in their body. In Him is life; and the life is the light of men (John 1:4). We serve Jesus Christ who is Resurrection and the Life.

You Can Believe The Word

You Can Believe The Word

For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

                                                                                                 -  1 Thessalonians‬ ‭2:13‬ ‭‬‬‭‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

                                                   ‬‬‬‬‬‬

The Word of God is the most important, most valuable book written, because it came straight from the inspiration and throne of God (2 Timothy 3:16) and we can take God's Word for what He said and what He is speaking to us now.

When we attend to His Words and incline our ears to His sayings, not letting it depart from our eyes, keeping it in the midst of our heart  (Proverbs 4:20-21) and speaking it out of our mouth continuously, meaning our confession being based on the Word of God, speaking His Word. Believing what He said is going to come to pass, and we will have what we say (Mark 11:24) as we speak His Word. We read it, we believe it and we speak it into the NOW, the natural realm and see it take place.

It's up to us to make a decision to read the Word, believe the Word and speak the Word. We can do it, we can believe it and rely on it knowing it has been given to us to live it, walk it and bring glory to God!

God Is Unchanging

God Is Unchanging

By Rusty Wilson

For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

                                                                                                 -  Malachi‬ ‭3:6‬ ‭‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

                                                   ‬‬‬‬‬‬

When we read in the Word of God what God says and seeing that He doesn't change. God doesn't change neither does His Word change. Even though there are people in the world that make the comment, "God must of changed His mind." The truth is God doesn't change His mind. There are times that the person (vessel) that He wants to use doesn't obey and yield to Him, causing Him to use another person that will be obedient and yield to Him to do what He is wanting done.

God uses a person that is willing to be used. He will not force anyone to be obedient. He cannot and He will not go against the individuals will. If the person is not willing and obedient to do what He has for them to do, this causes the blessing to be stopped from manifesting in their behalf that has already been planned for them to receive for their obedience to do what God has already planned for them to do (Ephesians 2:10).

It's extremely important for us to be obedient to the call that God has placed on our life and to do what He has for us to do. We don't want to cause Him to move on and to use someone else to do what we are supposed to do. When He tells us to do something, He isn't telling us to do it, to occupy some extra time that we may have. He is instructing us to do what He has for us to do, so He can minister to and change the person’s life and giving us an opportunity to be a blessing to them.

Jesus is our Good Shepherd. He watches over us to make sure we are safe and every need of necessity that we have is met. He will let us know by the Holy Spirit of danger. He will let us know that the enemy (the devil) is going to try something, so we will be aware of it, that is why it’s so vitally important to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and do what He says to do.

Jesus gave His life for us so we can have everlasting life (John 3:16). He paid the ultimate price with His blood, the price that only He could pay. Praise God! That is Exciting news! He paid the price just for us. Jesus is the Good Shepherd, we can trust and rely on Him every day.

Jesus said in John 10:14, I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. When we received Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we were then, that very moment connected to Him to be able to receive from Him and be guided by Him and be in His protecting arms. Glory to God! Verse 27 He said,  My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: We can hear His voice and know it is Jesus, because we know His voice and know He is our True and Good Shepherd. The Amplified Version says, The sheep that are My own hear and are listening to My voice; and I know them, and they follow Me.

Let us remember to pay close attention to hear Jesus’ voice and we will always know that we are going in the right direction.

The True and Good Shepherd: The Lord Is My Shepherd

The True and Good Shepherd: The Lord Is My Shepherd

By Rusty Wilson

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

                                                -  Psalms‬ ‭23:1‬ ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

                                                   ‬‬‬‬‬‬

As we read this familiar Psalm of David, we learn that the Lord is our Shepherd, the Amplified version says, ...[to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack. The Lord is our keeper, He supplies all of our need (spiritually and physically), and He guides us by His Holy Spirit. He shields us and keeps us safe from the wicked one, the devil (Psalm 91).

We learn here what David said, I shall not want (lack). We don't have to want or lack of anything because, our God, our Heavenly Father has supplied all of our need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).  In Him, we do not lack.

The Lord is our true and good Shepherd who we can trust in. We can rely on Him for everything we ever need. He wants us to rely on Him as our only Source, for He is our Shepherd. Let's always keep in mind, the Lord is truly our good Shepherd and we don't have to look to anyone or anything else, because He has us covered.

Are We Determined: To Reach Out and Touch Jesus?

Are We Determined: To Reach Out And Touch Jesus?

By Rusty Wilson

And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.

The women with issue of blood did all she knew to do. After dealing with the issue of blood for twelve years and couldn’t be healed by any of the physicians treatments and spending all she had. She heard and believed the reports concearning Jesus, and was determined to get to Him. She knew if she could just touch the hem of His garment and saying to herself, “If I may but just touch his garment, I shall be made whole (Matthew 9:20-21).

This example of her faith and her determination to get to Jesus and receive her healing brings a question for us (the body of Christ) to think about. How determined are we? How far will we go to press in and get into God’s Word to receive what God said in His Word. To get it into our heart and depend upon His Word in every situation, in every circustance. We can only answer the question ourselves.

It’s the determination to get the Word of God into our heart, hear it, believe it, speak it and act on it by reaching out and touching Jesus and receiving what God has already prepared us to receive. We’ve got to go beyond popular belief, what the world says, and receive what God’s Word says. We can do it, we can be determined and make the decision to get our focus on God and His Word and receive the manifestation of His Word in our life.
