Jesus Put His Name On The Line For Us!

Jesus Put His Name On The Line For Us!

By Rusty Wilson

And I will do [I Myself will grant] whatever you ask in My Name [as presenting all that I AM], so that the Father may be glorified and extolled in (through) the Son. [Yes] I will grant [I Myself will do for you] whatever you shall ask in My Name [as presenting all that I AM].

- John 14:13-14 The Amplified Bible ‭‭

When we come to the God our Heavenly Father, we shouldn’t feel ashamed or embarrassed to ask of Him for something we want or desire. Jesus said in the John 14:13 and in the Amplified Bible it truly expresses Jesus telling us that He Himself will grant what ever we ask in His name, He says …as presenting all that I AM, so that the Father may be glorified and extolled in (through) the Son. (extol: to praise someone or something highly)

When we bring our request (our petition) to God, Jesus presents and puts ALL that He IS into our request (our petition) to God to bring it into manifestation for you and for me for the glory of God!

When we ask anything in His name, according to the will of God, He will do it that the Father may be glorified in Him. When we pray in the name of Jesus, He takes our prayer (our petition) to another level. A level in FAITH where the devil cannot touch it. That is so exciting to know that the devil can’t even touch it. Glory to God!

When we ask God for anything in Jesus name, we ask by the authority of Jesus. The authority God gave to Jesus, He gave to us. We have His name and we have been given Power of Attorney to use His name! The most POWERFUL name, we have full access to. Glory to God! Let’s remember to use the name of Jesus daily for the praise and glory of God!

Fully Persuaded!

Fully Persuaded!

By Rusty Wilson

And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

- Romans‬ ‭4:21‬‬ ‭‭

It is important that when we read the Word of God, we read it expecting to receive what God is saying to us and become and stay fully persuaded (fully convinced) to take Him at His Word. Beyond popular belief, we can receive exactly and ALL that God has promised in His Word.

When we become fully persuaded that when we read God’s Word and receive it as His Word to us, that we claim it as His Word to us, we speak it and we expect it to manifest in our behalf. God wants us to act on His Word by doing it (James 1:22). First of course, we’ve got to read it, believe it, speak it, letting it build our faith up (faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God, Romans 10:17), and again speak it and expect it to come to manifestation. We’ve got to believe that as we speak it, it will come to manifestation. It’s important to check our belief. Remember what Jesus said in Mark 9:23, ..If thou canst believe… choose to believe!

As the body of Christ, it’s extremely important to be fully persuaded (fully convinced) that, what God has promised, He is able to perform. Let’s be determined to be fully persuaded, believe God and His Word, speak His Word and expect it to manifest in our behalf and others behalf for the glory of God! Let’s always remember as we speak God’s Word, speak it by faith believing it, for it will manifest. His Word will not return to Him void and neither will it to us, it will manifest. It will accomplish that which He pleases, and it will prosper in the thing or things where He sends it, and He sends it through us (Isaiah 55:11).

Raise Your Praise To God!

Raise Your Praise To God!

By Rusty Wilson

Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

- Psalm 150:6 ‭‭

As the body of Christ, it’s important to live a life of praising God. He inhabits (dwells in the place) the praise of His people (Psalm 22:3). When we praise God, He is dwelling with us, He shows up in our behalf. That’s exciting and should make every believer want to raise their praise to Him every chance they get.

You may say, I don’t always feel like praising God or doing anything. Well, the best time to praise God is when we really don’t feel up to it. Like we do when we don’t feel like laughing to stir up the joy in ourself, but we just start laughing. There are times we have to start in the flesh when we really don’t feel up to it. We bring our flesh under control and discipline it and say, I will praise the Lord. I will laugh and stir up the joy that the Lord has given me, I will rejoice.

When we are going through a trial, it’s important to raise our praise to God, again sometimes we have to start in the flesh, it’s a choice we have to make. When we raise our praise, we acknowledge that God is the supplier of ALL our need (Philippians 4:19), and He shows up on the scene. He has everything we will ever need whether it be healing, financial breakthrough, a job, He has and will bring it into manifestation to supply of ALL our need according to His riches in glory.  Let’s remember to raise our praise to God and see what He will do.

Faith Builders

Faith Builders

By Rusty Wilson

But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,

- Jude 1:20 ‭‭

There are times when we are believing God for a certain thing: healing, finances, salvation for a loved one, we will ask others for pray and agreement (Matthew 18:19).

It's extremely important when we ask others to be in prayer that we ask those that we know that will pray and be in agreement that will not waiver, that will not speak against what we are believing for. We need to know that they are faith builders standing on the Word of God.

A faith builder builds themselves and others up in their most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost (pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, Jude 1:20 NLT), standing on the Word of God. They encourage others as they believe for a certain thing and not waiver from the Word of God. They stand with you until what you are believing for comes to pass. Not everyone and this can include family members also, is a faith builder and will stand with you in faith believing the same thing and speaking the same thing. Let's be encouraged to ask for agreement and prayer from faith builders that we know will encourage us, agree with us and stand with us on the Word of God.

Being Strong In The Lord!

Being Strong In The Lord!

By Rusty Wilson

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

- Ephesians‬ ‭6:10‬ ‭‭

There are times that we may feel weak and may not feel enough strength to move around. One thing we can rest assure of we can draw strength from the Lord. Ephesians‬ ‭6:10‬ the ‭Amplified Version says, In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].

We can be strong (be empowered) in the Lord through our union with Him. We are joined to the Lord, which we have ALL strength provided for us to draw from Him and walk in each and every day. We don't have to depend on our own strength and actually we aren't supposed to. The strength that the Lord has given to us, we are to walk in each day.

It's good to know that we are strengthened with His strength for His strength is our strength. We can be excited, joyful and thankful for the joy that is in us for the joy of the Lord is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Praise God! Let's continue to receive and walk in the Lord's strength and be strong in Him!

Enforcing The Word: Being In Agreement

Enforcing The Word: Being In Agreement

By Rusty Wilson

Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

- Matthew‬ ‭18:19‬ ‭

When two people are in agreement in faith, there is power. When we stretch forth our faith together, we speak the Word in Jesus name, we will see it come to pass. We can enforce the Word together over a situation to see it changed. We must be in agreement speaking the same thing, speaking the Word of God.

Jesus said in John‬ ‭14:13-14‬, And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. When we agree about something that we are standing on the Word of God and speaking His Word in Jesus name, we will see it come to manifestation. We ask according to His will, we will receive what we ask for the glory of God!

When we stand together in faith asking according to His will in confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness, 1 John 5:14 the Amplified version), we know God hears us and since we know He hears us when we make our requests, we also know that He will give us what we ask for (1 John 5:15 NLT).

As we are in agreement, we can be confident when we enforce the Word of God by speaking it over any situation, God’s Word will manifest for His glory!

Enforcing The Word: Not To Condemn People

Enforcing The Word: Not To Condemn People

By Rusty Wilson

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that he world through him might be saved.

- John 3:17

It is important to understand that Jesus wasn't sent to condemn the world and  neither are we. We are to speak truthful about others, speak what the Word says. We are supposed to speak the Word of God in other people's lives, sowing good seed. Words are seed.

When we speak the Word of God (enforcing it), we are teaching others not only to speak God's Word, but also to believe what they say is coming to pass. When we speak His Word, we need to speak His Word in confidence that it will be accomplished where His Word is sent, because it will not return unto Him void, but accomplish that which He pleases (Isaiah 55:11).

God's Word is truth, it is spirit and it is life (John 6:63), so when we speak the Word over someone, we speak truth and we speak life to them. It is extremely important not to speak condemnation into their life, but to speak the Word over them and to them. Encouraging and building them up with the Word of God!

Being A Word Enforcer

Being A Word Enforcer

By Rusty Wilson

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

- Mark 16:15

In order to be a Word Enforcer we have to have knowledge of the Word of God and of course we do this by reading and study His Word. We study to show or present ourselves approved unto God (2 Timothy 2:15). When we receive the knowledge and understanding He has for us, we can minister it to others.

An Enforcer in the Webster dictionary: is one that enforces, to enforce is to make (a law, rule, etc.) active and effective, to make (something) happen. To enforce the Word is to speak it and expect the manifestation to take place. When we speak God’s Word by faith in expectation for it to come to pass, we will see it manifest.

We can take the Word of God to those that God sends us to and minister to them, giving them the opportunity to receive it, increase their faith so they can enforce the Word in their life. We also need to enforce the Word in our own lives, believing it and receiving it. Let’s continue to read the Word, receive the Word and enforce the Word and see it manifest in our lives and other lives for the glory of God!

You Are Not Alone

You Are Not Alone!

By Rusty Wilson

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

- John 14:16-18

There might be times you may feel alone and by yourself. One thing to remember, as the body of Christ you are not alone, so don’t fear, for the Lord your God is with you. He will not fail you, He will not leave you nor forsake you. Jesus said in John 14:18, I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. The Holy Spirit was sent to be with us and to comfort us. You don’t have to feel alone for the Holy Spirit is here to comfort you and me.

Deuteronomy ‭31:6 says, ‬Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. God is always with us. He sent His Holy Spirit to comfort us, to guide us and teach us and give us understanding. So be strong and of a good courage. God is with you!

He said in Joshua ‭1:9‬, Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Wherever you go, He is with you. Be encouraged and know that you are not alone, for God is with you.

The Blood Of Jesus!

The Blood of Jesus!

By Rusty Wilson

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

- Ephesians 1:7

One drop can wash away a persons sins. The blood that Jesus shed on Calvary will change their life forever. Jesus shed His blood so we can have life and have life more abundantly. The power of the blood of Jesus will break through the darkness and shine the light.

One drop can cleanse our spirit and make us clean. We need to experience the blood of Jesus and see it work in our life. Letting it flow through our heart, our spirit, our soul, and our mind. Everyone needs to receive the blood of Jesus, because He shed it for us.

Jesus shed His blood so we can be overcomers. One drop of Jesus’ blood will open the blindness the devil has put in front of peoples spiritual eyes. If you have received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you have received His redeeming blood that washed away your sins and made you clean and placed you in right standing with God. Glory to God!

Life's Instruction Manual: Attendding To God's Word

Life's Instruction Manual: Attending To God's Word

By Rusty Wilson

My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.

- Proverbs 4:20

As we attend to God's Word, we give attention to it, we read it, speak it, and hear it. As we speak His Word, not only are we speaking it, but also we are hearing it and by this we know we are increasing our faith as Romans 10:17 says, So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Proverbs 4:22 says, For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. When we read and study the Word of God we find according to verse 22 that His words are life unto those that find them, …unto those that find them in the Hebrew is properly to come forth to, to attain, to find or acquire, take hold on. …and health to all their flesh. We know that other scriptures as examples we can stand on are 1 Peter 2:24, Matthew 8:17, Isaiah 53:5 and Psalm 107:20. With these scripture references we can stand on, our confession should be no different than what the Word of God says.

It is a good and important focus that when we read and study the Word of God to purpose to take a hold of what we read and allow the Holy Spirit to teach us and to guide and direct us on how to apply the Word we receive. The Holy Spirit is our helper and our comforter. As the body of Christ, it is important that we allow the Holy Spirit to do His part in our life.

The Holy Spirit Was Sent To Guide Us Into All Truth!

The Holy Spirit Was Sent To Guide Us Into All Truth!

By Rusty Wilson

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

- John‬ ‭16:13‬‬‬

Jesus told His disciples when the Spirit of truth (the Holy Spirit) is come and He is here with us today, He will guide us into ALL truth. He doesn't speak of Himself, but what He hears the Father say. Jesus’ words are still the same and true to us today.

As we are sensitive to the Holy Spirit, He will guide us wherever God tells Him to guide us. Wherever we go, He is there will us. He will keep us from trouble and/or guide us out of trouble. What I mean is, sometimes we might make the wrong decision and we face trouble. As we rely on the Holy Spirit to guide us, He will lead us out of that trouble, that situation. He will lead us where He needs us to go.

There will be times He might not tell us what to say, therefore we don't say anything. Some may say, Well, you’ve got to say something. Do you really? If we are being lead by the Holy Spirit and He doesn't tell us to say anything, then NO we don't. That's a good opportunity for us to keep quiet if He doesn’t say anything to us. It could be a quiet time to where God is taking care of it in a different way. Something to think about! The devil tries to get us to say something or to do something to make the situation worse, but if the Holy Spirit doesn’t say a word, it's good that we don't say a word and keep quiet. Let's continue to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit for He will lead us into ALL truth.

Pursuing Our Purpose By Continuing In God's Love!

Pursuing Our Purpose By Continuing In God's Love!

By Rusty Wilson

As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

- John 15:9‬

To pursue the purpose God has given to us, we must continue in His Love. How we act, how we respond, what we say. We must be open to the Holy Spirit for Him to speak to us and correct us if correction is needed. If we respond and/or we say something wrong, we’ve got to be quick to repent and go and apologize if an apology is necessary. The Holy Spirit with deal with us and tell us to do so.

Love is a vital part of God’s purpose, His plan for us. It is a command and not a suggestion or request. Jesus said in John 15:10, If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. His commandment in verse 12 He says, This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Again this is a commandment and not a suggestion.

When we Love one another, we are fulfilling one of the fruits of the Spirit, which is the first fruit the Apostle Paul began with when he wrote Galatians 5:22. When we Love one another no matter the situation, no matter what some one says or tries to do to us, it is vitally important to Love them and forgive them. We can do this with the help of the Holy Spirit, who has been sent to guide us into all truth and Loving one another is truth. Let’s continue to Love one another with God’s Love!

Pursuing Our Purpose By Abiding In Jesus and Bearing Much Fruit!

Pursuing Our Purpose By Abiding In Jesus and Bearing Much Fruit!

By Rusty Wilson

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

- John‬ ‭15:4-5‬

Before we can pursue our purpose, the plan that God has given to us, we must

abide in Jesus so we can bear much fruit. Jesus is our connection to God and bearing fruit is His purpose for us.

When we bear fruit, it shows. We may not see it, but people see it and notice that we are different from the world and no matter what is going on around us, we are aware of it, but we don't fear it. We have the peace of God, which gets their attention. They may ask us why things around us don’t bother us and why we are so peaceful. We can tell them God is our source of protection and we don’t have to fear, because we choose not to. We trust in God.

When we bear fruit, it gives an opportunity for others around us to ask questions of why we are so peaceful in times of trouble and we’re not in fear. God's purpose for us is to live peaceful and be an example to others and to minister to them. When we bear much fruit, God is glorified (John 15:8). As we are being a doer of His Word, His Word is manifested in our behalf giving us a testimony of how good God is to us. When we bear much fruit, we are being an example of Jesus to the world. Let’s continue to abide in Jesus and bear much fruit, being an example of Him.

Pursuing Our Purpose

Pursuing Our Purpose

By Rusty Wilson

For we are God's [ own ] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [ born anew ] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [ taking paths which He prepared ahead of time ], that we should walk in them [ living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live ].

- Ephesians 2:10 The Amplified Version‬

We all have a purpose in life. The important thing is, is to find out what that purpose is if we’re not sure. As a child of God, He has given us a specific purpose (what He has for us to do) and to know what that purpose is and which direction to go, we need to do as the Word of God says.

Matthew 6:33 says, But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. The Amplified version says, But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides. We need to go before God with thanksgiving and praise, seeking first His Kingdom and His Righteousness (His way of doing and being right, Matthew 6:33 The Amplified version) to know what He has for us to do. It’s important for us to be patient and listen for the Holy Spirit’s voice for He will speak to us.

As the Lord came to Jeremiah which we read in Jeremiah 33:3 saying, Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. As we call unto Him, He will reveal to us what He has for us to do. When we hear His command and ask the Holy Spirit to guide and direct us, we can then pursue the purpose He has given to us. When we pursue (get ahold of) our purpose and apply the Word of God, we can accomplish what God has planned (purposed) for us to do. When He tells us what He has for us to do, it might seem too big, cost a lot of money, fear might try to come in, but we must refuse to fear. We can do ALL things God has for us to do (Philippians 4:13).

The Power Of The Name Of Jesus In Us!

The Power Of The Name Of Jesus In Us!

By Rusty Wilson

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

- Acts‬ ‭1:8‬

As the Holy Spirit is working in us, we have the same power that Jesus had working in Him when He walked the earth and being led by the Holy Spirit. God having given Jesus a name above every name. We have been given the power and the authority to speak the name of Jesus and see the sick healed, the lame to walk and the blind to see.

In Acts chapter 3 we read about the lame man that sat daily at the gate of the temple called Beautiful to ask alms of them that entered into the temple. He saw Peter and John about to go into the temple and asked of alms (verse 3). Peter fastened his eyes on the man and spoke to him saying, ...Look on us (verse 4), and the man gave heed to them, expecting to receive something from them (verse 5) and Peter said to him, ...Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk (verse 6‬). Peter told him in the name of Jesus to rise up and walk. Peter used the authority given to him in the name of Jesus and he took the man by the hand and the man got up and immediately received strength in his feet and ankle bones. The power of God healed that man in the name of Jesus.

There is power in the name of Jesus and He lives in us and as we abide in Him and He in us we have His power in us continuously. We just have to use it by faith. That is why we must increase out faith daily by reading the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Let's remember we have the power and the authority to use the name of Jesus and as we speak His name, let's not just speak His name lightly, let's speak His name with authority and speak His name in prayer so we know we will receive what we ask for by faith in Jesus name. There is power in the name of Jesus!

The Power In The Name Of Jesus!

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

- Philippians 2:9-11

There are a lot of names on earth that we hear of, but there is one name that stands out and above all names and gets peoples attention. A name that at it every knee will bow to. God the Father highly exalted Jesus and gave Him His wonderful name that we have access to that we received from Jesus. He gave us His name to use, He gave us His name to invoke, to speak in prayer.

As we take some time to think about the name of Jesus, lets smile for there is excitement in His name. There is power in His name. When we pray in the name of Jesus, it takes our prayer to another level. A level the devil cannot touch. When we ask anything in His name, according to the will of God He will do it, that the Father may be glorified in Him (John 14:13)

When we ask God the Father for anything in Jesus name, we ask by the authority of Jesus. The authority God gave to Jesus, He gave to us. We have His name and we have His authority. Glory to God! I encourage you to take some time and think about the name of Jesus and allow yourself to smile for there is JOY in the name of Jesus!

If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

- John 8:36

Are you looking for a way out? A way out of captivity, bondage, pain (physical or mental), drugs, alcohol addiction? Are you having problems in family matters or personal relationships. In this world there are a lot of problems and some that I have described. There is a way out! There is a Deliverer with a name that is above every name and above all things, His name is Jesus (Philippians 2:9-11).

There’s a lot of people that looking for a way out, but they are searching in the wrong places. There are people living in bondage, captivity, pain. John 10:10 says, The thief commeth not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. In this verse Jesus is telling us the devil comes to steal from you and me and he isn’t going to stop there, he is going to kill and destroy. The devil is going to try to steal the Word that has been sown in you and me. If he is allowed to do this, he will take everything we have, but that isn’t going to happen, because we aren’t going to let him. As we keep our eyes on God and His Word and trust in Him, He will keep us free. We are FREE indeed!

I want to let you know there is a way out, His name is Jesus, that’s why He died for you and me so we can have deliverance. We must trust in God! Be Encouraged and BE BLESSED!

Forgiving Others That Hurt Us

Forgiving Others That Hurt Us

By Rusty Wilson

Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

- Luke‬ ‭23:34

There are times that people we know and people we may not know try to wrong us or hurt us. Some do it intentionally and others do it not intentionally. As the body of Christ we need to recognize and understand who the source is that is influencing them that try to wrong us or hurt us.

As we allow the Holy Spirit to minister to us, He will show us that the devil is influencing them and for us to pray for them instead of getting upset. The flesh definitely wants to get upset which is a sudden reaction to what the person says or does. But if we will stop and let the Holy Spirit minister to us and guide us, we can show the ones trying to upset us the Love of God and show the devil that it isn't bothering us.

You may say that's easier said than done, but as we remember what Jesus went through when He was mocked, spit upon, beaten, whipped and nailed to the cross. As He hung on the cross, He said, "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do…" (Luke 23:34). As hard as it may appear, we can forgive them of the hurt and the wronging that they did to us or tried to do to us, because we have the Love of God and with His Love, we can Love them. Let's remember to forgive others and Love them with God's Love.

Having A Victorious Mindset

Having A Victorious Mindset

By Rusty Wilson

But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

- 1 Corinthians 15:57

As a child of God it's important to know that through Jesus Christ we have been given the victory over every trial, temptation and any circumstance that comes our way. We can think and we can speak “Victory” over every situation and believe we have the “Victory”. Things may not appear to look like we have the victory, but one thing to remember: We walk by faith and not by sight! (2 Corinthians 5:7)

It's important to have a victorious mindset and always remembering we have the victory. You might say, “I don't always feel victorious.” Good thing is, you don't have to go on feelings. 1 Corinthians 15:57 tells us God has given us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. We may not feel it, but we can know and say, I have the victory until we believe that we do and don't back down from it. Remember what Proverbs 23:7 says, For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:.. Think Victorious!
