Keeping Our Meditation On The Word Of God!

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
Joshua 1:8 KJV
“But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.” Psalms 1:2 KJV
“My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:20-23 KJV

Cast Your Care Upon The Lord

If you are dealing with depression, the Word of God says, Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1 Peter 5:7. Take the cares you have been dealing with and cast them over onto the Lord. You can’t handle those cares, you can’t fix those cares, only God can take care of those cares. Be delivered today. Speak this: Depression has no place in my life, in Jesus name.

The Word of God Final Authority!

Allow the Word of God to be final authority in your life, standing by faith and you will see your circumstances be changed and taken care of for the glory of God.

But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.   2 Timothy‬ ‭3:14-17‬ ‭KJV‬

Lining Up Our Beliefs With The Word Of God

There are many beliefs in the world today, but do these many beliefs line up with the Word of God? Some say I believe this way, some say I believe that way, but do these beliefs line up with the Word of God? It goes beyond personal belief, it goes from belief to knowing. How do we know? We have to read and study the Word of God. Then we will know if our beliefs line up with the Word of God. That’s what matters. John 8:32 (KJV) says, And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Be Not Conformed To This World

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.  Romans 12:2 KJV
Let us not be so focused on the things of the world that we get conformed (Greek – to fashion alikeconform to the same pattern, fashion self according to), but we be transformed by the renewing of our mind by reading and studying the Word of God. We do see what is taking place through the media (internet, tv, newspapers, etc.), but our focus should be on God and His Word. This is definitely something that we have to work on on a daily basis, because it is too easy to get caught up in what is being said.
The Word tells us in 1 John 2:15 KJV,
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
Let’s make sure our love is for the Father and not the world. Yes, we are in the world, but we’re not of it.

Keeping Jesus’ Words and Commandments

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. John 14:23 KJV

If we truly love Him we will keep His words and the Father will love us and Jesus and the Father will make their abode (Greek – a staying, residence) with us.

As we love Him and keep His words we will want to keep His commandments as Jesus said in John 15:12, This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
It is good from time to time to check our Love level to make sure we are full will God’s Love, because if our love level is low it will show and if it is full then it will definitely show. Something to think about and check ourselves to see where our Love level is at.

Reigning In Life With Jesus!

For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:17-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬
As we have confessed with our mouth, believed in our heart and received Jesus as our Lord and Savior (Romans 10:8-13) we have been made the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21), we shall reign in life by Jesus Christ. To do this we must keep our eyes on Him and be obedient to do as He says to do. If we mess up, we need to repent, ask for and receive God’s forgiveness and correction and get our eyes focused back on Jesus and continue reigning in life with Jesus. We are able, we can do it.

The Blessing Is Yours!

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Mark‬ ‭11:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬
The Blessing Is Yours!

God Is Faithful and Just

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (‭1 John‬ ‭1‬:‭9‬ KJV)
We don’t intend or purpose to sin, but if we fall into sin, making a wrong decision and acting on it, let us be quick to repent (to turn from sin) and asking God for and receive His forgiveness. God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Glory to God! We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. (2 Corinthians 5:21). Be blessed!
